The Meeting is not about not about our comforts and preferences…it is about the pleasure of God!

Music | For the first 30 minutes or so, we spend time worshipping God through song. Our style is fairly contemporary, but you’ll often hear a favorite hymn, as well. We strive to create an environment in which people are free to worship in a way that is meaningful to them. It is our goal that you feel safe and comfortable enough to have a real, authentic encounter with God through worship. We want you to come spend a morning in an environment that is affirming, uplifting, challenging, and above all, honoring to God.

Welcome & Community | We’ll briefly tell you about a few things happening around here and often share a meaningful part of our community. The friendly atmosphere will set you at ease as we navigate this Christ-following journey together.

Prayer | Prayer is an essential part of our service. You will find it incorporated throughout, sometimes with a specific emphasis, and other times, it’s open to allow you personal time to spend with God.

Giving | For those who value the mission of VCC and are learning to give, this is a time to give back to God a portion of what He’s given to us.

Sermon | There will be a 30 to 35 minute message about applying God’s Truth to our lives. Although we are often at some point within a sermon series, each week has stand alone value based on God’s Word that will be meaningful and relevant to all. We strive to provide a variety of ways to communicate the message; on any given Sunday you may find drama, special music, a video, a personal testimony…creative ways that help drive the message home!

Closing | We typically end our services by offering a time of prayer for those who need it. We are not in a rush to end, so if you would like someone to pray for/with you, don’t hesitate to move to the front of the Sanctuary where people are waiting to pray with you. From there, feel free to connect with others after the service, and/or visit the North View Room in the lobby to learn more about specific ministries/events.

Come worship as a family through a time of sharing, caring, communion! Every last Sunday of the month, we come together to worship in a special service designed for the whole family…yours, and ours as a church body. Children 5 years and older will join us in the WAPAC during the morning  worship services. VCC’s KidMin provides a bag of activities for the kids; we love having them in the service with us!
