I recently returned from a two-week trip to Ethiopia, Africa. I was part of a team of trainers who taught local community leaders on sanitation, hygiene and clean water. It was an amazing experience and I felt privileged to be apart of it.

I saw the life-changing affect that having a clean, safe water source had on a small community. It brought such joy and satisfaction that God was using me to extend the love and grace he has for such a beautiful people.

Valley Christian Center was loving people a world away.

Without the prayer and support of my church family, I wouldn’t have been able to make an impact in an entire region. Now, local health workers, teachers and government leaders, have new tools to bring change to desperate, rural, communities battling preventable diseases. I am reminded of Matthew 10:42 that says: “And if you give even a cup of cold water to one of the least of my followers, you will surely be rewarded.”

Thanking God for His many rewards.
