Prayer & Worship Hour
At Valley Christian, we exist to become the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. In order to see that happen, we aspire to grow in the following areas: vulnerability, listening, pursuit, and becoming kingdom-minded. That is why we have created space for our people to gather in a time of prayer & worship.
Music | We open our P&W Hour by honoring God through song. We desire to create an environment in which people can have a real, authentic encounter with God through worship.
Focused Prayer | Prayer is an essential part of this service, you will find it incorporated throughout. Different topics will be addressed each week. As we lead these topics, you may be asked to pray with someone else, pray into a microphone, or simply pray alone in your seat.
Closing | We are not in a rush to end; in fact, P&W seamlessly transitions into our 10 AM service.
We invite you to come spend a morning in an environment that is affirming, uplifting, challenging, and above all, honoring to God.
At Valley Christian Center, we believe in creating a space to worship God with extravagant love and radical surrender. Worship should be genuine and authentic; not fake, routine, religious or boring. We desire to embrace the sacred scriptures as a rule of life and guide for this world. We study not to learn about God but to know Him, hear from Him, feel Him and enjoy Him.
Music | Directly transitioning from our P&W Hour, we continue spending time honoring God through song, including traditional, contemporary and original compositions. We exist to lead others in all-out, uncompromised worship of God.
Prayer | Each week, our altar prayer team is available to pray with you during our service. It is our desire that each person that comes forward for prayer will feel valued, honored and loved.
Giving | This is a time to return to the Lord His tithes and give to Him our offerings. We also receive special offerings for both local and global mission organizations, as well as those who are part of our Valley Christian family who need a helping hand.
Message | We look to the scriptures to discover God’s Truth for our lives. We strive to provide a variety of ways to communicate the message; including special music, a video, or even a personal testimony.
Closing | We often close our services by opening up the altars for a time of reflection and response to the message. You are encouraged to connect with others after the service, and/or visit the Connect Kiosks in the lobby to learn more about what is happening at Valley Christian.
A FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH
Come worship as a family through a time of sharing, caring, communion! Every last Sunday of the month, we come together to worship in a special service designed for the whole family…yours, and ours as a church body. Children 5 years and older will join us in the WAPAC during the morning worship services. VCC’s KidMin provides a bag of activities for the kids; we love having them in the service with us!
The Meeting is not about not about our comforts and preferences…it is about the pleasure of God!
